Description: Russian psychologist Pavel Piskarev coined the term Neurographica in 2014. It is the method of creating mind and body connections through a combination of art and psychology. Pavel describes this creative process as a method of transforming the world of your feelings into artistic expression. This process uses a drawing technique that links the conscience with the subconscious. The result is an awareness and mindfulness that helps turn stress into calm. According to International Visual Art Foundation, neurographic art has been scientifically validated and proven, and it is one of the most widely used psychological techniques in art therapy today. Students will learn neurographic art technique and use acrylic painting and will leave with beautiful artwork that will surprise oneself. Must try class!
