Wed. March 4 6:00-8 Zine art with Elisha Rush Free class sponsored by Scotts Run Resonance Project
“Zines are an awesome creative artform that help you express anything from short comics, personal essays, activism, poetry, humor, and so much more! In this workshop Elisha will talk a little about zines as an artform and will show you how to make your own with nothing more than scissors and a piece of paper!
Drawing skills not required- we’ll be working in a variety of mediums including collage, creative writing and more! All you need to bring is your creativity.”
Elisha Rush is an artist and freelance illustrator with a love for creating whimsical illustrations of mischievous critters and creatures, drawing from local folklore and culture within the Appalachian Mountains. Elisha holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from West Virginia University, and currently runs her art and illustration small business Spring Fox Studios where she works with a variety of clients including local nonprofits, small businesses, and all sorts of people seeking more creativity in their lives. “
With a grant from the Scotts Run Resonance Project we have the opportunity to offer free art workshops available to all ages.
