Join us for a hands-on summer cyanotype session where you’ll create three botanical paper prints and a sunprinted tote bag using one of the oldest photographic processes around. Learn how to coat both paper and fabric with cyanotype solution, arrange natural objects and stencils, and expose your prints to the sun for bold, deep-blue designs.
We’ll cover coating tips for smooth, even coverage, and explore how different materials respond to light.
No experience needed — just curiosity, creativity, and a love for sunlight.
All materials provided. Let’s make something beautiful under the sky.
Natalie is an artist from Appalachia who spends her time foraging and pressing plants to study their form and beauty. After years of experimenting and learning what not to do, she finds joy in thrifting clothes to print on, collecting botanicals on hikes, and printing them in the sunshine using cyanotype.
