July 21 Tuesday 6:00-8:00 handmade paper by Kadijiha art for all ages
Discover the beauty of making your own paper — from scratch! In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn the basics of papermaking using common household materials and recycled scraps, while exploring ways to add texture, color, and personality with items like dried flowers, crayon shavings, and natural fibers.
Whether you're curious about papermaking as a craft, a form of self-expression, or a meditative process, this workshop offers a welcoming space to play, learn, and create. No experience necessary — just come ready to get a little messy and make something beautiful!
Kadijiha is a multidisciplinary teaching artist who uses sustainable art practices — like papermaking and working with upcycled materials — as a way to slow down, process, and reflect. This workshop is designed to engage the senses, spark curiosity, and support emotional expression without the pressure of perfection. Kadijiha is also the co-founder of Brush Box, a creative wellness initiative focused on art-making as a tool for healing, connection, and personal discovery.
