Weave a Cape Cod Berry Basket Workshop (In-Person) – 3/22/2026
Basket Weaving Workshop: Sunday March 22, 2026, 1-4:30 p.m. at The Ferry House in Maidsville, West Virginia.
Just in time for spring harvests, weave a reed Cape Cod berry basket with a carved oak handle (6″ across and 7″ high). This make-and-take workshop is appropriate for adult beginners, but any level student is welcome. In addition to your finished basket, you’ll also receive a sheet of illustrated instructions and the web address for purchase of additional materials, should you be inspired to make more baskets.
Please register and pre-pay here up to one day prior to the workshop. This class is limited to 12 students. Because I need to prepare materials in advance, I’ll not be able to take walk-ins. Please arrive by 12:45 so you’ll have time to get settled before class starts at 1:00. You’ll need to bring a few tools, which are listed below.
Appropriate for adults and truly interested teens, with the target age 16 years and beyond. Please don’t enroll or bring along younger children. See the full description below for additional information.
