In an age of AI dominance, creation is a radical act of our humanity. Let's explore writing as a tool of self-expression together! This workshop will feature accessible, hands-on creative writing exercises to spark your inspiration and help you find your voice.
We will explore how to create optimal conditions for your writing process through free-writing sprints and learn strategies for crafting compelling characters, vivid settings, and engaging stories. There will be opportunities to receive constructive feedback on your work, though sharing is completely optional. You don't need to bring any prepared material, just yourself and your preferred drafting method (laptop, notebook, etc.) See you there!

Kaley LaQuea is a creative writer and former educator from central Florida. A communications professional with more than a decade of writing experience in multiple industries, she holds a BA in English Literature from the University of Central Florida and MA in Media and Public Engagement from the University of Colorado Boulder.
